इतिहासस्य कर्ता च पुत्रस्ते जगतो हित: । भविष्यति महेन्द्रस्य दयित: स महामुनि:

Transliteration

itihāsasya kartā ca putras te jagato hitaḥ | bhaviṣyati mahendrasya dayitaḥ sa mahāmuniḥ ||

Translation

Parāśara said: “Your son will become the composer of an itihāsa, a benefactor of the world. That great sage will also be dear to Mahendra (Indra).”
