अध्याय १६ — शङ्कर-उमा-वरदानम् तथा तण्डि-स्तुतिः (Śaṅkara–Umā Boon-Granting and Taṇḍi’s Hymn)

ज्ञानविज्ञानयुक्तानां निरुपाख्या निरज्जना | कैवल्या या गतिर्देव परमा सा गतिर्भवान्‌,देव! ज्ञान और विज्ञानसे युक्त पुरुषोंको जो सारूप्य आदि नामसे रहित, निरञ्जन एवं कैवल्यरूप परमगति प्राप्त होती है, वह आप ही हैं

jñānavijñānayuktānāṁ nirupākhyā nirajjanā | kaivalyā yā gatir deva paramā sā gatir bhavān ||

Vāyu said: “O Deva, that supreme destination attained by those endowed with both knowledge and realized discernment—free from all limiting labels such as ‘sārūpya’ and the like, stainless and solitary as kaivalya—that highest goal is none other than You Yourself.”
