Those who, refined and inwardly formed by the discipline of devotion, take refuge in that Supreme Lord—to them alone does He, who lies hidden in the heart’s sanctuary, reveal His own presence by His very Self.
वायुदेव उवाच
The Lord is realized inwardly: those whose minds and lives are shaped by bhakti-yoga and who take refuge in Him receive His self-revelation. Divine vision is presented as a grace that arises in the heart for the devoted, not as a merely external achievement.
Vāyudeva states a doctrinal point within the Anuśāsana Parva’s instruction: he explains who becomes eligible for direct experience of the Supreme—namely, devotees who surrender and are matured by devotion—describing the Lord as the indweller who reveals Himself within the heart.
