अध्याय १६ — शङ्कर-उमा-वरदानम् तथा तण्डि-स्तुतिः (Śaṅkara–Umā Boon-Granting and Taṇḍi’s Hymn)

जातीमरणभीरूणां यतीनां यततां विभो

jātimaraṇabhīrūṇāṁ yatīnāṁ yatatāṁ vibho

O Lord, (this is said) concerning the yatis—renunciant ascetics who fear the cycle of birth and death—those who strive with disciplined effort (toward liberation).
