Śatarudrīya-prabhāva and Rudra’s Supremacy (शतरुद्रीयप्रभावः)

तृतीयं चास्य सम्भूत॑ नेत्रमादित्यसंनिभम्‌ | युगान्तसदृशं दीप्तं येनासौ मथितो गिरि:,उनके ललाटमें आदित्यके समान तेजस्वी तीसरे नेत्रका आविर्भाव हो गया। वह नेत्र प्रलयाग्निके समान देदीप्यमान हो रहा था। उस नेत्रसे प्रकट हुई ज्वालाने उस पर्वतको जलाकर मथ डाला

Then, upon his forehead, there arose a third eye, radiant like the sun. It blazed like the fire of dissolution at the end of an age; and by the flame that issued from that eye, the mountain was burned and crushed to ruin.
