Śatarudrīya-prabhāva and Rudra’s Supremacy (शतरुद्रीयप्रभावः)
ततो वितिमिरो लोक: क्षणेन समपद्यत | ज्वाला च महती दीप्ता ललाटात् तस्य नि:सृता,तदनन्तर क्षणभरमें सारे जगत्का अन्धकार दूर हो गया। भगवान् शिवके ललाटसे अत्यन्त दीप्तिशालिनी महाज्वाला प्रकट हो गयी
tato vitimiro lokaḥ kṣaṇena samapadyata | jvālā ca mahatī dīptā lalāṭāt tasya niḥsṛtā |
Then, in an instant, the world became free of darkness. Immediately thereafter, a great blaze—brilliant and overpowering—issued forth from Śiva’s forehead, dispelling obscurity and manifesting divine power that restores order and clarity.
नारद उवाच
Darkness—symbolizing ignorance, fear, or disorder—can be removed instantly by the manifestation of divine insight and power. Śiva’s blaze signifies a higher clarity that restores cosmic balance and dispels obscuration.
Nārada narrates that the world suddenly becomes free of darkness, and a tremendous, radiant flame emerges from Śiva’s forehead, marking a dramatic divine manifestation that changes the state of the world.
