ब्राह्मणान् पूजयेच्चापि तथा स्नात्वा नराधिप । देवांश्व॒ प्रणमेत् स्नातो गुरूंश्वाप्पभिवादयेत्
brāhmaṇān pūjayec cāpi tathā snātvā narādhipa | devāṁś ca praṇamet snāto gurūṁś cāpy abhivādayet ||
Bhīṣma said: “O king, after bathing, one should also honor the brāhmaṇas. Having thus purified oneself, one should bow to the gods and respectfully salute one’s teachers and elders.”
