Householder Duties and Daily Offerings

गृहस्थ: पुरुष: कृष्ण शिष्टाशी च सदा भवेत्‌ | राजर्त्विजं स्नातकं च गुरु श्वशुरमेव च

gṛhasthaḥ puruṣaḥ kṛṣṇa śiṣṭāśī ca sadā bhavet | rājartvijaṃ snātakaṃ ca guruṃ śvaśuram eva ca

Vāyu said: “O Kṛṣṇa, a man who lives the householder’s life should always eat in a disciplined and proper manner, and he should show due honor and deference to the king, the royal priest, a learned graduate (snātaka), his teacher, and his father-in-law.”
