Yayāti–Aṣṭaka Saṃvāda

यदोस्तु यादवा जातास्तुर्वसोर्यवना: स्मृता: । द्रह्मो: सुतास्तु वै भोजा अनोस्तु म्लेच्छजातय:,यदुसे यादव क्षत्रिय उत्पन्न हुए, तुर्वसुकी संतान यवन कहलायी, द्रुह्मुके पुत्र भोज नामसे प्रसिद्ध हुए और अनुसे म्लेच्छजातियाँ उत्पन्न हुईं

yadostu yādavā jātās turvasor yavanāḥ smṛtāḥ | druhmoḥ sutāstu vai bhojā anostu mlecchajātyaḥ ||

From Yadu arose the Yādavas; from Turvasu were remembered the Yavanas; from Druhyu came the people known as Bhojas; and from Anu arose groups described as mleccha-jātis.
