Yayāti–Indra Dialogue and Aṣṭaka’s Inquiry

तस्मादेव तु राजर्षे: शर्मिष्ठा वार्षपर्वणी । | चानुं च पूरुं च त्रीन्‌ कुमारानजीजनत्‌,उन्ही राजर्षिसे वृषपर्वाकी पुत्री शर्मिष्ठाने तीन पुत्रोंको जन्म दिया, जिनके नाम थे द्रुह्मु, अनु और पूरु

tasmād eva tu rājarṣeḥ śarmiṣṭhā vārṣaparvaṇī | druhyuṁ cānuṁ ca pūruṁ ca trīn kumārān ajījanat ||

Vaiśampāyana said: From that royal sage, Śarmiṣṭhā—the daughter of Vṛṣaparvan—gave birth to three sons: Druhyu, Anu, and Pūru.
