Śukra said: “O Devayānī, know this: the one who casts out the anger that has arisen—by means of non-anger, forbearance, and self-control—has, by that very act, conquered this entire world.”
शुक्र उवाच
True victory is inner mastery: when anger arises, removing it through akrodha—patience, restraint, and forgiveness—amounts to conquering the world, because one has conquered the most disruptive enemy within.
Śukra addresses Devayānī with moral counsel, emphasizing that responding to provocation with forbearance rather than retaliation is the mark of real strength and the foundation of dharmic conduct.
