Adhyāya 71: Kaca and the Saṃjīvanī-vidyā

Devayānī–Śukra Episode

आसनेनार्चयित्वा च पाद्येनाघ्येंण चैव हि | पप्रच्छानामयं राजन्‌ कुशलं च नराधिपम्‌,महाराज! फिर आसन, पाद्य और अर्घ्य अर्पण करके उनका समादर करनेके पश्चात्‌ उसने राजासे पूछा--“आपका शरीर नीरोग है न? घरपर कुशल तो है?”

āsanenārcayitvā ca pādyenārghyeṇa caiva hi | papracchānāmayaṃ rājan kuśalaṃ ca narādhipam ||

Having honored him with a seat, and with the customary offerings of water for the feet and the arghya, she then asked the king: “O King, are you free from illness? And is all well at home, O lord of men?”
