वंशानुकीर्तनम् — Genealogical Recitation from Dakṣa to Yayāti and the Establishment of the Paurava Line

सामात्यो राजलिड्रानि सो5पनीय नराधिप: । पुरोहितसहायश्च जगामाश्रममुत्तमम्‌,वे नरेश मुकुट आदि राजचिह्लोंको हटाकर साधारण वेश-भूषामें मन्त्रियों और पुरोहितके साथ उस उत्तम आश्रमके भीतर गये

sāmātyo rāja-liṅgāni so 'panīya narādhipaḥ | purohita-sahāyaś ca jagāmāśramam uttamam ||

Vaiśampāyana said: The king, accompanied by his ministers, removed the outward insignia of royalty. With the help and company of his family priest, he then proceeded—now in a plain guise—into that excellent hermitage.
