Śakuntalā-Janma-Nāmakaraṇa (Birth and Naming of Śakuntalā) | शकुन्तला-जन्म-नामकरणम्

अश्रिनौ गुहाकान्‌ विद्धि सर्वोषध्यस्तथा पशून्‌ | एते देवगणा राजन कीर्तितास्ते<नुपूर्वश:,अश्विनीकुमार, सर्वोषधि तथा पशु--इन सबको गुह्मकसमुदायके भीतर समझो। राजन! ये देवगण तुम्हें क्रमश: बताये गये हैं

aśvinau guhākān viddhi sarvoṣadhyas tathā paśūn | ete devagaṇā rājan kīrtitās te 'nupūrvaśaḥ ||

Vaiśampāyana said: “Know the two Aśvins, the hosts of medicinal herbs, and the animals as belonging to the class called the Guhyakas. O king, these divine groups have been enumerated to you in due order.”
