King Duḥṣanta’s Entry into the Forest Hunt

नानाराज्येषु च सुतान् स सम्राडभ्यषेचयत् । महारथो मागधानां विश्रुतो यो बृहद्रथ:,सम्राट् वसुने विभिन्न राज्योंपर अपने पुत्रोंको अभिषिक्त कर दिया। उनमें महारथी बृहद्रथ मगध देशका विख्यात राजा हुआ
Transliteration
nānārājyeṣu ca sutān sa samrāḍ abhiṣecayat | mahāratho māgadhānāṃ viśruto yo bṛhadrathaḥ ||
Translation
Vaiśampāyana said: That sovereign consecrated his sons as rulers in various kingdoms. Among them, the famed Bṛhadratha, a great chariot-warrior, became the celebrated king of the Magadhas.
