ऑपन--माजल छा जि पज्चत्रिशो< ध्याय: मुख्य-मुख्य नागोंके नाम शौनक उवाच भुजजड़मानां शापस्य मात्रा चैव सुतेन च । विनतायास्त्वया प्रोक्ते कारणं सूतनन्दन,शौनकजीने कहा--सूतनन्दन! सर्पोको उनकी मातासे और विनता देवीको उनके पुत्रसे जो शाप प्राप्त हुआ था, उसका कारण आपने बता दिया
Translation
Śaunaka said: “O son of the Sūta, you have explained the cause of the curse the Nāgas received from their mother, and the cause of the curse the goddess Vinatā received from her son.”
