Garuḍa–Śakra Saṃvāda and the Retrieval of Amṛta (गरुड–शक्र संवादः अमृत-अपहरण-प्रसङ्गः)
दयार्थ वालखिल्यानां न च स्थानमविन्दत । स गत्वा पर्वतश्रेष्ठ गन्धमादनमञज्जसा,वालखिल्य ऋषियोंके ऊपर दयाभाव होनेके कारण ही वे कहीं बैठ न सके और उड़ते- उड़ते अनायास ही पर्वतश्रेष्ठ गन्धमादनपर जा पहुँचे
dayārthaṃ vālakhilyānāṃ na ca sthānam avindata | sa gatvā parvataśreṣṭhaṃ gandhamādanam añjasā ||
Moved by compassion for the Vālakhilya sages, he could find no place to sit or settle. So, without delay, he went swiftly to Gandhamādana, the foremost of mountains—his action shaped by pity and reverence toward the ascetics.
रौहिण उवाच
Compassion and respect toward ascetics is presented as a dharmic impulse strong enough to override personal comfort; ethical sensitivity guides immediate action.
The speaker describes how, feeling pity for the Vālakhilya sages, he could not settle in any place and therefore went swiftly to the mountain Gandhamādana.
