Garuḍa–Śakra Saṃvāda and the Retrieval of Amṛta (गरुड–शक्र संवादः अमृत-अपहरण-प्रसङ्गः)

समर्थों बलिनां श्रेष्ठो हर्तु सोम॑ं विहंगम: । सर्व सम्भावयाम्यस्मिन्नसा ध्यमपि साधयेत्‌,बलवानोंमें श्रेष्ठ आकाशचारी गरुड अमृत हर ले जानेमें समर्थ हैं। मैं उनमें सब प्रकारकी शक्तियोंके होनेकी सम्भावना करता हूँ। वे असाध्य कार्य भी सिद्ध कर सकते हैं

samartho balināṃ śreṣṭho hartuṃ somaṃ vihaṅgamaḥ | sarvaṃ sambhāvayāmy asminn asādhyam api sādhayet ||

Kaśyapa said: “That bird is capable—indeed the foremost among the mighty—of carrying off Soma. In him I foresee every kind of power; he can accomplish even what seems impossible.”
