सतं गत्वा क्षणेनैव पर्वतं वचनात्‌ पितु: । अमुज्चन्महतीं शाखां सस्वनं तत्र खेचर:,पिताके आदेशसे क्षणभरमें उस पर्वतपर पहुँचकर उन्होंने वह विशाल शाखा वहीं छोड़ दी। गिरते समय उससे बड़ा भारी शब्द हुआ

Transliteration

sataṁ gatvā kṣaṇenaiva parvataṁ vacanāt pituḥ | amuñcan mahatīṁ śākhāṁ sasvanaṁ tatra khecaraḥ ||

Translation

Obeying his father’s command, the sky-ranging one reached the mountain in a moment and released there a huge branch; as it fell, it resounded with a great crashing sound.
