Garuḍa–Śakra Saṃvāda and the Retrieval of Amṛta (गरुड–शक्र संवादः अमृत-अपहरण-प्रसङ्गः)
सतं गत्वा क्षणेनैव पर्वतं वचनात् पितु: । अमुज्चन्महतीं शाखां सस्वनं तत्र खेचर:,पिताके आदेशसे क्षणभरमें उस पर्वतपर पहुँचकर उन्होंने वह विशाल शाखा वहीं छोड़ दी। गिरते समय उससे बड़ा भारी शब्द हुआ
sataṁ gatvā kṣaṇenaiva parvataṁ vacanāt pituḥ | amuñcan mahatīṁ śākhāṁ sasvanaṁ tatra khecaraḥ ||
Obeying his father’s command, the sky-ranging one reached the mountain in a moment and released there a huge branch; as it fell, it resounded with a great crashing sound.
कश्यप उवाच
The verse highlights prompt obedience and faithful execution of a legitimate instruction—acting swiftly and without hesitation when duty is clear.
A sky-ranging being, following his father’s command, reaches a mountain instantly and drops a massive branch there; its fall produces a loud, resonant crash.
