सहिता: सेनया राजन्ननुजग्मु: पुरंदरम् । राजन! महात्मा इन्द्रको वहाँसे प्रस्थान करते देख समस्त स्वर्गवासी देवता सेनासहित उनके पीछे-पीछे चले गये
sahitāḥ senayā rājann anujagmuḥ purandaram | rājann mahātmā indraḥ tatraiva prāsthitaṃ dṛṣṭvā samastāḥ svargavāsino devatāḥ senāsahitāḥ tasya pṛṣṭhataḥ pṛṣṭhataḥ anvayuḥ ||
Vaiśampāyana said: O King, accompanied by their forces, they followed Purandara. Seeing the great-souled Indra depart from that place, all the gods who dwell in heaven—together with their armies—set out after him, following close behind.
