Jarītā–Śārṅgā-saṃvāda: Ākhu-haraṇa and the Approach of Agni (आखुहरणं अग्न्यागमनश्च)
तत्र भूतान्यनेकानि रक्षतेडस्य प्रसड्भतः । तं॑ दिथक्षुर्न शकनोमि दग्धुं शक्रस्य तेजसा
The Brahmin said: “Because of Takṣaka, Indra also protects many other beings who dwell here. Thus, by Śakra’s power, I cannot burn this forest—though I ever yearn to set it aflame.”
