As Kṛṣṇā (Draupadī) lamented in many ways, Dhanañjaya (Arjuna) repeatedly consoled her and again and again begged her forgiveness for his fault. The scene upholds an ethical ideal: even a mighty warrior must acknowledge wrongdoing, comfort the afflicted, and seek reconciliation through humility rather than pride.
