उपक्षेपणजो<धर्म: सुमहान् स्यान्महीपते: । यद्यस्य रुदतो द्वारि न करोम्यद्य रक्षणम्,“यदि मैं राजद्वारपर रोते हुए इस ब्राह्मणकी रक्षा आज नहीं करूँगा, तो महाराज युधिष्ठिरको उपेक्षाजनित महान् अधर्मका भागी होना पड़ेगा
Transliteration
upakṣepaṇajo 'dharmaḥ sumahān syān mahīpateḥ | yady asya rudato dvāri na karomy adya rakṣaṇam ||
Translation
Vaiśampāyana said: “O king, if today I do not protect this Brahmin who is weeping at the palace gate, then a very great unrighteousness—born of neglect—will fall upon the ruler.”
