तेषामनुग्रहश्चायं सर्वेषां चैव न: कुले । जीवितं च परं श्रेय: क्षत्रस्यथ च विवर्धनम्‌,पाण्डवोंपर किया हुआ यह अनुग्रह हमारे कुलके सभी लोगोंके जीवनका रक्षक, परम हितकारक और सम्पूर्ण क्षत्रिय जातिका अभ्युदय करनेवाला होगा

Transliteration

teṣām anugrahaś cāyaṃ sarveṣāṃ caiva naḥ kule | jīvitaṃ ca paraṃ śreyaḥ kṣatrasyātha ca vivardhanam ||

Translation

Vidura said: “This act of favor shown to them will, in our entire lineage, safeguard life itself, bring the highest welfare, and further the prosperity and standing of the kṣatriya order.”
