समन्तपञ्चक-आख्यानम् तथा अक्षौहिणी-प्रमाणनिर्णयः

Samantapañcaka Narrative and the Measure of an Akṣauhiṇī

दर्शन बृहदश्वस्य महर्षेर्भावितात्मन: । युधिष्ठिरस्य चार्तस्य व्यसन परिदेवनम्‌,इसके बाद धर्मराज युधिष्ठिरको शुद्धहृदय महर्षि बृहदश्वका दर्शन हुआ। युधिष्छिरने आर्त होकर उन्हें अपनी दुःखगाथा सुनायी और विलाप किया

darśanaṁ bṛhadaśvasya maharṣer bhāvitātmanaḥ | yudhiṣṭhirasya cārtasya vyasana-paridevanam ||

Then Yudhiṣṭhira, the king of Dharma, stricken by calamity, gained an audience with the great seer Bṛhadaśva, a sage of purified and disciplined mind. In anguish he recounted his misfortunes and lamented before him.
