Cause of Kalmāṣapāda’s Niyoga under a Curse

सहस्रांशुं ततो विप्र: कृताञज्जलिरुपस्थित: । वसिष्ठो5हमिति प्रीत्या स चात्मानं न्यवेदयत्,ब्रह्मर्षि वसिष्ठ दोनों हाथ जोड़कर सहस्रों किरणोंसे सुशोभित भगवान् सूर्यदेवके समीप गये और 'मैं वसिष्ठ हूँ” यों कहकर उन्होंने बड़ी प्रसन्नतासे अपना समाचार निवेदित किया
Translation
Then the brahmin Vasiṣṭha, with hands joined in reverence, approached the Sun-god radiant with a thousand rays. With gladness he introduced himself, saying, “I am Vasiṣṭha,” and thus made his identity known.
