Educational Q&A

A gift or boon brings duty: when life and lineage are granted, one must protect and sustain it through careful, disciplined effort (prayatna), guided by dharma.

Śaunaka recounts that Kadrū obtained a thousand radiant sons, and the great ascetic speaker in the story emphasizes that the pregnancy/embryos must be carefully carried and safeguarded.
