तस्यै भर्ता वरं प्रादादत्यर्थ पुत्रमीप्सितम्‌ । एवमस्त्विति त॑ं चाह कश्यपं विनता तदा,विनताको पतिदेवने, अत्यन्त अभीष्ट दो पुत्रोंके होनेका वरदान दे दिया। उस समय विनताने कश्यपजीसे 'एवमस्तु “कहकर उनके दिये हुए वरको शिरोधार्य किया

Transliteration

tasyai bhartā varaṁ prādād atyarthaṁ putram īpsitam | evam astv iti taṁ cāha kaśyapaṁ vinatā tadā ||

Translation

Her husband granted her a boon—the one she most intensely desired: the gift of sons. Vinatā then addressed Kaśyapa, saying, “So be it,” and received his boon with reverence.
