कुन्ती-युधिष्ठिर-संवादः — Kuntī’s Counsel on Departing for Pāñcāla

Educational Q&A

Political power is portrayed as dharmically complete only when it is restrained and sanctified by yajña and generosity—public rites with abundant dakṣiṇā that acknowledge divine order and social obligation.

Vyāsa foretells the Pāṇḍavas’ future: they will subdue the earth and then perform major royal sacrifices such as the Rājasūya and Aśvamedha, distributing plentiful gifts, thereby establishing their sovereignty in a ritually and ethically sanctioned way.
