Vāraṇāvatāgamana: Public Farewell, Vidura’s Coded Counsel, and Departure
इति श्रीमहाभारते आदिपर्वणि सम्भवपर्वणि द्रोणग्राहमो क्षणे द्वात्रिशधिकशततमो<ध्याय:
iti śrīmahābhārate ādiparvaṇi sambhavaparvaṇi droṇagrāhamokṣaṇe dvātriṃśādhikaśatatamo 'dhyāyaḥ
Thus, in the Śrī Mahābhārata, within the Ādi Parva and specifically the Sambhava Parva, ends the one-hundred-and-thirty-second chapter, in the section concerning the “release” (mokṣaṇa) from the episode of Droṇa’s seizure.
वैशम्पायन उवाच
This line is a colophon rather than a doctrinal verse; its function is to preserve textual order and context—showing how the epic tradition carefully frames teachings and events within a structured transmission.
The narrative action is not advanced here; the line simply announces the conclusion of the chapter and identifies its placement in Ādi Parva → Sambhava Parva, noting the section connected with 'Droṇa’s seizure' and its 'release'.
