Adhyāya 129 — Public Acclaim of the Pāṇḍavas and Duryodhana’s Appeal to Dhṛtarāṣṭra
evam uktvā mahābāhur dharmarājo yudhiṣṭhiraḥ | bhrātṛbhiḥ sahitaḥ sarvair apramatto 'bhavat tadā ||
Having spoken thus, the mighty-armed Yudhiṣṭhira—king devoted to dharma—together with all his brothers, from that time onward became thoroughly vigilant.
वैशम्पायन उवाच
Righteous intention must be matched by practical care: after giving or receiving dharmic counsel, one should become apramatta—free from negligence—so that duty is protected through steady vigilance.
Vaiśampāyana reports that after speaking as required in the preceding context, Yudhiṣṭhira, together with all his brothers, adopts a heightened state of caution and watchfulness from that point onward.
