Pāṇḍu’s Gifts, Forest Residence, and Vidura’s Marriage

कृष्णद्वैपायनो5प्येतत्‌ सत्यवत्यै न्‍्यवेदयत्‌ । प्रलम्भमात्मनश्वैव शूद्राया: पुत्रजन्म च,श्रीकृष्णद्वैपायन व्यासने सत्यवतीको भी सब बातें बता दीं। उन्होंने यह रहस्य प्रकट कर दिया कि अम्बिकाने अपनी दासीको भेजकर मेरे साथ छल किया है, अतः शूद्रा दासीके गर्भसे ही पुत्र उत्पन्न होगा

kṛṣṇadvaipāyano 'py etat satyavatyai nyavedayat | pralambham ātmanaś caiva śūdrāyāḥ putrajanma ca ||

Vaiśampāyana said: Kṛṣṇa Dvaipāyana (Vyāsa) also informed Satyavatī of this. He disclosed both the deception practiced against him and the consequence that a son would be born from the womb of the Śūdra maidservant.
