सूत उवाच पूर्वं त्रैलोक्यविजये विष्णुना समुदात्दृ तम् / बलिं बद्ध्वा महावीर्यं त्रैलोक्याधिपतिं पुरा
Transliteration
sūta uvāca pūrvaṃ trailokyavijaye viṣṇunā samudātdṛ tam / baliṃ baddhvā mahāvīryaṃ trailokyādhipatiṃ purā
Translation
Sūta said: Formerly, at the time of the conquest of the three worlds, Viṣṇu performed a noble deed; in ancient days he bound Bali, the mighty hero and lord of the three worlds.
