देवालये तपस्तस्वा एकपादेन दुश्चरम् / निराहारो युगं दिव्यमुमातुङ्गो स्थितो ज्वलन्
devālaye tapastasvā ekapādena duścaram / nirāhāro yugaṃ divyamumātuṅgo sthito jvalan
In the temple of the gods he performed a harsh austerity, standing on one foot; fasting through a divine yuga, Umātuṅga—beloved of Umā—remained there, blazing in splendor.
