Agastya, Yājñavalkya, Vāmadeva, and other sages also came there, filled with longing to see Lord Kṛṣṇa and Lord Balarāma.
Because even the greatest ṛṣis long for the direct darśana of the Supreme Lord; their arrival shows that Kṛṣṇa is the ultimate object of spiritual aspiration.
Śukadeva Gosvāmī narrates this to King Parīkṣit while describing the Kurukṣetra gathering and the Lord’s meetings with devotees and sages.
Cultivate sincere eagerness for the Lord by seeking sādhus, hearing Bhāgavatam, and prioritizing devotional practices that bring one closer to Kṛṣṇa’s presence.
