śrī-śuka uvāca iti tad-vacanaṁ śrutvā vasudevo mahā-manāḥ tān ṛṣīn ṛtvijo vavre mūrdhnānamya prasādya ca
Śukadeva Gosvāmī said: Hearing the sages’ words, the magnanimous Vasudeva bowed his head to the ground, honored them with praise, and requested them to serve as his priests.
This verse shows Vasudeva bowing his head and respectfully pleasing the sages, emphasizing that spiritual acts like yajña should be done with humility and due honor to saintly persons.
After hearing their counsel, Vasudeva accepted them as officiating priests to ensure the sacrifice was performed correctly, under proper Vedic authority and blessings.
Seek qualified guidance, show respect to teachers and elders, and approach spiritual practice with humility rather than ego—this invites clarity and grace.
