Kurukṣetra Pilgrimage: Sages Praise Kṛṣṇa; Vasudeva Inquires on Karma; Viṣṇu-yajña Performed

This is the most auspicious path for a dvija householder: with faith, selflessly worship Purushottama, the Supreme Lord, using pure wealth honestly obtained.
Both Śrīdhara Svāmī and Śrī Jīva Gosvāmī here agree that the ritual karma of Vedic sacrifices is particularly meant for attached householders. Those who are already renounced in Kṛṣṇa consciousness, like Vasudeva himself, need only cultivate their faith in the Lord’s devotees, His Deity form, His name, the remnants of His food and His teachings, as given in Bhagavad-gītā and Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam.
It teaches that a twice-born householder should follow an auspicious path by worshiping the Supreme Person with faith, using wealth earned honestly and kept pure.
Shukadeva Gosvami speaks this while describing dharmic principles connected with worship and proper conduct, in the broader narration of events around Kurukshetra in Canto 10, Chapter 84.
Earn ethically, keep your livelihood clean, and offer a portion of your income and actions in faith to God through worship, charity, and service—making spiritual practice the center of household life.
