Sages who see with the eye of scripture have shown that this is the easiest yoga for pacifying the restless mind and attaining liberation, a sacred duty that brings joy to the heart.
This verse says that true peace of mind is achieved by following the easy, scripturally guided path taught by the wise—yoga and dharma that lead to direct self-realization.
Because genuine spiritual practice is meant to be guided by revealed knowledge; the wise demonstrate a reliable, accessible path when they interpret and live by śāstra rather than speculation.
Adopt a simple, consistent spiritual discipline aligned with scripture—ethical living (dharma), regulated habits, and devotional remembrance—so the mind gradually becomes calm and oriented toward the Self.
