Sudāmā Brāhmaṇa: Divine Friendship, Guru-bhakti, and the Lord’s Grace

यस्यच्छन्दोमयं ब्रह्म देह आवपनं विभो । श्रेयसां तस्य गुरुषु वासोऽत्यन्तविडम्बनम् ॥ ४५ ॥

yasya cchando-mayaṁ brahma deha āvapanaṁ vibho śreyasāṁ tasya guruṣu vāso ’tyanta-viḍambanam

O almighty Lord, Your body is the Absolute Truth in the form of the Vedas, the very source of all auspicious goals. That You lived in a guru’s school is simply Your lila, in which You play the role of a human being.
