Be detached from the body and all that is connected with it. Self-satisfied and steadfast in your vows, fully absorb your mind in Me; thus, in the end, you will attain Me, the Supreme Brahman.

FAQs

This verse teaches udāsīnatā—remaining indifferent to the body and bodily identifications—while firmly absorbing the mind in Kṛṣṇa to reach the Absolute at life’s end.

Because in Bhagavatam theology, Kṛṣṇa is the Supreme Reality; absorbing the mind in Him culminates in realizing the highest Brahman and attaining Him directly.

Reduce body-centered anxiety through disciplined habits (vows), and daily practice of remembrance—japa, prayer, hearing, and mindful work offered to Kṛṣṇa—so the mind steadily returns to Him.
