Rukmiṇī quietly went out on foot to behold the lotus feet of the goddess Bhavānī. Yet her mind was wholly absorbed in the lotus feet of Mukunda, Śrī Kṛṣṇa.
Rukmiṇī went to Bhavānī’s temple as part of her customary worship, praying for Kṛṣṇa; yet even while honoring the goddess, her mind remained fixed on Mukunda’s lotus feet.
It means “the lotus feet of Mukunda (Kṛṣṇa),” indicating Rukmiṇī’s exclusive devotional meditation on Kṛṣṇa as the giver of liberation.
While performing duties or rituals, keep the inner focus steady on the Lord—external actions may vary, but devotion is measured by remembrance and meditation.
