Kṛṣṇa Arrives at Kuṇḍina and Abducts Rukmiṇī
Rukmiṇī-haraṇa Prelude
किञ्चित्सुचरितं यन्नस्तेन तुष्टस्त्रिलोककृत् । अनुगृह्णातु गृह्णातु वैदर्भ्या: पाणिमच्युत: ॥ ३८ ॥
kiñcit su-caritaṁ yan nas tena tuṣṭas tri-loka-kṛt anugṛhṇātu gṛhṇātu vaidarbhyāḥ pāṇim acyutaḥ
May whatever small pious deeds we have done please Acyuta, the creator of the three worlds, and may He show His mercy by taking the hand of Vaidarbhī.
The devoted citizens of Vidarbha lovingly offered their entire stock of pious credit to Princess Rukmiṇī. They were very eager to see her marry Lord Kṛṣṇa.
It shows that even a small amount of piety and sincere humility can invite the Lord’s grace, and the devotee prays that Kṛṣṇa mercifully accept them.
She is being offered to another marriage against her heart’s desire; through her message she appeals to Kṛṣṇa to rescue her and accept her as His wife.
Approach God with humility, acknowledging one’s small merit, and pray for divine guidance—trusting that sincere surrender can transform difficult situations.
