There, even the most elderly appeared youthful, brimming with strength and vitality, for with their eyes they repeatedly drank the nectar of Mukunda’s lotus face.
This verse says that simply beholding Mukunda’s lotus face is like drinking nectar with the eyes, so uplifting that even the elderly feel renewed with youthful strength and vitality.
Śukadeva Gosvāmī speaks this verse while narrating Kṛṣṇa’s pastimes and the transformative effect of seeing Him.
Regular, attentive darśana—through sincere prayer, deity worship, and mindful contemplation of Kṛṣṇa’s form—can restore inner energy, hope, and clarity by re-centering the mind on the divine.
