Then Lord Kṛṣṇa seized the mighty Kuvalayāpīḍa by the tail and, as if in play, dragged him twenty-five bow-lengths—just as Garuḍa might drag a snake.
In this verse, Kṛṣṇa effortlessly drags Kaṁsa’s massive, powerful bow as if in play, showing that His strength is divine and natural, not merely human.
Garuḍa is invoked as a vivid comparison: just as Garuḍa easily handles a serpent, Kṛṣṇa easily handles the formidable bow—highlighting Kṛṣṇa’s effortless supremacy.
Remembering that the Lord can accomplish the “impossible” effortlessly encourages devotees to face daunting tasks with faith, humility, and steady devotional practice rather than anxiety.
