In Canto 10, Chapter 20, the Bhāgavatam describes the onset of the monsoon as life-giving for all beings, marked by lightning on the horizons and thunder filling the sky.
He is narrating the changing seasons of Vṛndāvana during Kṛṣṇa’s pastimes, using vivid natural imagery to set the devotional atmosphere and highlight how creation becomes renewed and animated.
Just as the rains revive all life, a devotee can remember that spiritual nourishment and renewal come by divine grace—encouraging gratitude, humility, and steadiness through life’s changing “seasons.”
