The Lord beheld the joyful forest maidens, the trees dripping sweet sap, and the mountain waterfalls whose resounding roar revealed that caves lay nearby.
In Canto 10, Chapter 20, the Bhagavatam poetically describes Vṛndāvana becoming vibrant—forest beings rejoice, creepers drip honey, mountain streams roar, and caves become visible—showing nature flourishing in the Lord’s beloved abode.
Śukadeva Gosvāmī narrates these seasonal and Vṛndāvana scenes to Mahārāja Parīkṣit as part of the larger Krishna-līlā narration.
The verse encourages attentive, devotional seeing—recognizing harmony, renewal, and sacredness in the natural world, and remembering Vṛndāvana and Kṛṣṇa through everyday experiences of rain, rivers, hills, and forests.
