Brahmā’s Prayers to Lord Kṛṣṇa (Brahmā-stuti) and the Restoration of Vraja’s Lunch Pastime
सर्वेषामपि वस्तूनां भावार्थो भवति स्थित: । तस्यापि भगवान् कृष्ण: किमतद् वस्तु रूप्यताम् ॥ ५७ ॥
sarveṣām api vastūnāṁ bhāvārtho bhavati sthitaḥ tasyāpi bhagavān kṛṣṇaḥ kim atad vastu rūpyatām
Even the subtle, unmanifest source of all material things has Bhagavān Kṛṣṇa as its origin. What, then, could ever be ascertained as separate from Him?
In this verse Brahmā affirms that the essential meaning and substance behind all entities ultimately rests in Kṛṣṇa, implying nothing can truly exist independent of Him.
After being humbled in the Brahmā-vimohana episode, Brahmā offers prayers acknowledging Kṛṣṇa’s supreme position—realizing that all categories of ‘things’ and their meanings culminate in Kṛṣṇa alone.
See people, duties, and resources as connected to Kṛṣṇa’s presence; this supports gratitude, reduces ego-driven control, and encourages devotional use of one’s work and possessions.
