एवं कामवरं दत्त्वा प्रतिजग्मु: सुरेश्वरा: । सभाजितास्तयो: सम्यग्दम्पत्योर्मिषतोस्तत: ॥ ३२ ॥
evaṁ kāma-varaṁ dattvā pratijagmuḥ sureśvarāḥ sabhājitās tayoḥ samyag dampatyor miṣatos tataḥ
Thus, after granting the desired boon, the three lords—Brahmā, Viṣṇu, and Maheśvara—vanished from that place as the couple looked on, having been duly honored by them.
This verse shows that devas may grant a desired boon, and that the proper response is respectful honoring (samyak sabhājana) rather than pride or entitlement.
After fulfilling their purpose—granting the requested boon—and being duly honored by the couple, the demigods returned to their abodes, as is typical in these narratives.
Receive help or blessings with gratitude, offer due respect to benefactors and teachers, and continue your duties without becoming dependent on favors.
