FAQs

This verse shows that even in anxiety—especially during a spouse’s absence—one should strive to keep prescribed duties like offerings into the sacred fire at the proper times, as steadiness in dharma supports spiritual strength.

Kashyapa is checking whether Aditi, troubled by separation and worry, has remained steady in household religious observances; such steadiness is essential groundwork for the spiritual vow and divine grace sought in this chapter.

Keep your daily spiritual routine consistent—prayer, japa, study, and service—even when the mind is disturbed; discipline during stress preserves clarity and devotion.
