Aditi’s Lament and Kaśyapa’s Instruction of the Payo-vrata (Milk Vow) to Please Keśava
जपेदष्टोत्तरशतं स्तुवीत स्तुतिभि: प्रभुम् । कृत्वा प्रदक्षिणं भूमौ प्रणमेद् दण्डवन्मुदा ॥ ४२ ॥

Thereafter, one should softly repeat the mantra 108 times and glorify the Lord with prayers of praise. Then one should perform pradakṣiṇa, and finally, with heartfelt joy, offer daṇḍavat obeisances, falling fully prostrate like a rod.
This verse instructs a devotee to perform mantra-japa 108 times as part of proper worship, followed by praising the Lord with prayers and offering full obeisances.
In Canto 8, Chapter 16, Śukadeva outlines the devotional procedure connected with the Pumsavana vow, emphasizing complete reverence—glorification, circumambulation, and full prostration—to please Lord Viṣṇu.
Set a steady daily practice: chant with a fixed count (like 108), offer a short prayer of gratitude, and conclude with respectful bowing—cultivating humility, focus, and devotion.
